أما ما نعرفه عن قصة مسلسل تاج أنه يدور في فترة الانتداب الفرنسي على سوريا، عندما يجد بطل الملاكمة السابق تاج نفسه متهماً بالعمالة مع المستعمر، فيخوض حرباً ضروساً لتبرئة اسمه.
الممثل السوري تيم حسن يقدم دور الملاكم الذي يُدعى “تاج الدين الحمال”، والذي يعاني الكثير على صعيد حياته الشخصية، وما يزيد الطين بلة، أنه يقع بحب ابنة تاجر دمشقي يُدعى “رياض بك” والذي يقدم دوره الفنان الكبير بسام كوسا، والذي يتعامل مع الفرنسيين ويقدم لهم الخدمات في الخفاء.
اللبناني صادق الصبّاح منتج مسلسل تاج كشف في وقت سابق خلال لقاء مع الإعلامي اللبناني نيشان في برنامج “قمر رمضان” بعض التفاصيل عن المسلسل.
وقال: “مسلسل تاج هو عمل ضخم جداً، بدأنا التحضير له منذ نحو عام ونصف العام، وتكمن صعوبته في الفترة الزمنية التي يحاكيها المسلسل، وهي فترة الأربعينيات من القرن الماضي”.
وأضاف: “بما أننا نريد تقديم عمل واقعي للمشاهدين، قمنا خلال 5 أشهر كاملة ببناء مدينتين بأحياء كاملة من أجل التصوير، وهما مدينتان مهمتان جداً”.
الصبّاح أشار إلى أن أي شخص يرى هاتين المدينتين على أرض الواقع يدرك تماماً أهمية هذا العمل وضخامة إنتاجه، وهو عمل لا يمكن لأحد أن يقدم عملاً مشابهاً له سوى كل 10 سنوات.
مؤكداً أنّ المشاهد التي سيراها المتابعون في رمضان ستؤكد ضخامة العمل ودقته.

كما لفت المنتج اللبناني إلى أنّ علاقته مع تيم حسن تخطت مرحلة التعاقدات والاتفاقات، وأصبحت بمثابة فريق عمل واحد، إلى جانب المخرج سامر البرقاوي والمؤلف عمر أبو سعدى.
كما بيّن الصباح أنّ مسلسل تاج يحتوي على ملحمة من الصعب تكرارها، ويحاكي قصة حب واستقلال وحرية، من خلال قصة حب مؤثرة في زمن مليء بالحروب، مؤكداً أن هذا المسلسل سيكون الحصان الرابح في رمضان 2024.

أما بالنسبة لأبطال المسلسل، فهم الفنان السوري الكبير بسام كوسا، والممثل المحبوب تيم حسن.
