منح ملك الأردن عبد الله الثاني لاعبي منتخب النشامى لكرة القدم ميدالية اليوبيل الفضي، تقديراً لما حققوه في بطولة أمم آسيا الأخيرة التي أقيمت في دولة قطر.
ملك الأردن يمنح ميدالية اليوبيل الفضي للاعبي منتخب النشامى
وحقق منتخب الأردن مفاجأة بوصوله إلى المباراة النهائية للمسابقة قبل أن يخسر أمام منتخب قطر مضيف البطولة بنتيجة 3-1.
تكريم منتخب النشامى يأتي أيضاً بالتزامن مع احتفالات المملكة الأردنية الهاشمية بذكرى مرور 25 عاماً على تولي الملك عبد الله الثاني الحكم.
ونشر اتحاد كرة القدم الأردني منشوراً على حسابه الرسمي على موقع “إنستغرام” قال فيه: “جلالة الملك عبد الله الثاني يستقبل، بحضور سمو الأمير الحسين بن عبد الله الثاني ولي العهد، نشامى المنتخب الوطني لكرة القدم، وينعم بميدالية اليوبيل الفضي على لاعبيه وطاقمه”.

وعادة ما يكون اليوبيل الفضي بمثابة احتفال يقام احتفاءً بالذكرى الخامسة والعشرين على مرور حدث معين، في حين أنّ اليوبيل الذهبي يأتي احتفاءً بالذكرى الخمسين، واليوبيل الماسي يقام احتفاءً بالذكرى الستين على مرور حدث معين في بريطانيا، أما في الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية فيتم الاحتفال بمرور خمسة وسبعين عاماً على حدث معين.
أما اليوبيل البلاتيني فهو احتفال يقام احتفاءً بالذكرى السبعين على مرور حدث معين في بريطانيا، وبالذكرى الخامسة والسبعين على مرور الحدث في بعض دول جنوب آسيا.
يذكر أنّ قائمة اللاعبين المكرمين من قبل الملك عبد الله خلت من اللاعب حمزة الدردور الذي تم استبعاده من قائمة منتخب النشامى خلال بطولة كأس آسيا بسبب خلافات نشبت بينه وبين مدرب المنتخب الحسين عموتة في الدور ثمن النهائي.
